killer progressive German private pressing from 1982. Sounds more like early to mid-70's - near Birth Control! Had been released in a very limited edition! Rare & hard to find!
Very Obscure German private pressing I stumbled on by accident and what a pleasant surprise. This is not a Krautrock LP by any means and is not overly prog but does contain a bit of Tuetonic weirdness here and there. Lots of heavy progressive moments though, nice keyboard and wah-wah guitar on these heavy songs. At times the keys are very Purple/Heep-esque and more than a hint of Iommi flavored guitar, some Steve Harris bass runs too. Except for the production values this is a 70s throwback LP except for 1-2 mainstream tracks. I like it a lot but more strictly from the heavy rock standpoint, progsters will likely be disappointed.oldmanwithaponytai Mar 06 2019
