Philippine-American War and the Controversy Regarding Casualties

The role that America played in the mass deaths in the Philippines in the time in and around the Philippine-American War is still controversial. This is due to the extent that war crimes and treatment led to the prevalence of disease and starvation at the same time as well as direct killings, rapes, and massacres.
