Car navigation systems are designed to prevent the viewing of television or DVD images while the car is moving.
This is because there is a risk of an accident if the driver watches the images while driving.
But the passenger in the passenger seat would still like to be able to watch the images.
So this time we tried a DIY project to remove the restrictions while driving.
It's very easy to do.
Just ground the parking brake wiring.
For Suzuki cars, the light green wire is the parking brake.
This varies depending on the manufacturer, so please check the parking wire.
Once you have identified the parking brake wiring, cut the coating with a wire stripper or something similar.
Insulate the cross section of the wiring on the vehicle side with vinyl tape or something similar.
Attach the other end to the bracket screw and ground it.
If the wiring is short, extend it with some remaining wiring and ground it.
You can easily extend it using a wiring connector (electro tap) or something similar.

If you are reluctant to cut the wires, a connection kit is also available.
