How to Backup a WordPress Site Easily
How to Backup a WordPress Site in less than 5 minutes.
#1 STEP
Install and activate the Updraft Plus plugin. This is a free plugin to backup your entire WordPress site.
#2 STEP
Now, you have to configure the backup frequency. For that, go to "Settings" and "UpdraftPlus Backups" and "settings".
The backup frequency will depend on you. I recommend you set weekly backups. Then, the number of the side means the number of backups that will retain simultaneously. If you set 4, it means that it will always keep the last 4 backups and it will delete the oldest ones automatically.
After you made the changes, save it.
#3 STEP
Choose remote storage. This will be the place where the backup will be stored. Here you can choose the one you like. I recommend you Dropbox, Google Drive, or Microsoft OneDrive, which are the free and safe options.
After selecting it, you must authenticate your Google account. Then, go back to settings, and select your remote storage again. Check that all files are included, and click save.
#4 STEP
Ready, check the installation in the "backup/restore" tab. After 10 minutes, you will see the backup of your site.
