Seth Thomas wall clock No. 102 with 113 movement
This is a rare and fine example of a Seth Thomas No. 102 with a 113 movement. It came this way from the manufacturer. It has a few differences from mantel 113’s like the No. 70,71,72, 73 and the tambour versions. The four models listed above have two hands called eyebrows I believe that you can turn clockwise and counterclockwise. One is for chime and silent and the other fast or slow. The tambour will be key set fast slow above the 12 o clock and chime/silent in between 1 and 2 o clock. The Seth Thomas No. 101,102 and 103 however have a different suspension spring, a longer leader(hanger) and different pendulum. The chime/silent is a switch at about 2 o’clock which you can move up or down by hand versus using a key.
