Eversince I saw Robert Cowan’s design on printable I knew I wanted to implement these in my setup.
#ad Thanks to PCBWay for making my beautiful design possible !! (https://www.pcbway.com)
I ran into two problems with his design:I could not fit two next to each other in my Ikea Lack setup and it does not fit the Bambulab P1P printed. Instead of looking for a remix someone else did I decided to redesign it all to fit my needs.
I think I succeeded and love the result. it took me a bit longer than I expected because of the huge size difference with the original. Because of the maximum width of the drawer I had to lower the rails and therefore nothing of the original design could be reused.
The design I made will be available on Makerworld.com.
Hope you like it !!
Print this in ABS and don’t hold out on strength or infill.
This is for the people that do not have a lot of spools but do want to have a nice storage system in a small place.
Be aware that the rails are about 15 - 20 euro’s per pair.
