When BLUMFELD released their album "Old Nobody" in 1999, they were suddenly considered crazy cool. We're not talking about BLUMFELD, but MÜNCHENER FREIHEIT, who had obviously taken some influence on BLUMFELD. More than 20 years later the Berlin Postkraut band YELKA covers the MÜNCHENER FREIHEIT hit.
It is also the first single from their new album entitled "Krieg & Ferien", which will be released at the end of October. It is accompanied by found footage from the internet in video game format. A World Of Warcraft movie by Tristan Pope. Pure pixel romance. Always on the search. A thousand plateaus!
