October marks Domestic Violence Awareness Month, a time to address the pervasive issue of violence in intimate relationships, disproportionately affecting women and marginalized communities. While society often focuses on supporting survivors, it's crucial to also spotlight the root of the problem: male violence and toxic masculinity. Men must confront their own behaviors and the patriarchal systems that enable abuse. Accountability and active participation in dismantling oppressive structures are essential for true change. This month, we call on men to take responsibility and be part of the solution, not just silent bystanders.
