You can also analyze data exploratively in Excel. You can use location parameters (mean, median, etc.) and dispersion parameters (standard deviation, quantiles, etc.). These are most easily accessed via the so-called population parameters in Excel's data analysis function.
In addition, you can also create charts – depending on the number of variables to be analyzed. Histograms and boxplots are particularly useful. These are useful for describing a distribution in terms of its center and the dispersion around that center.
