How to get motivated

Summary:
First, get clear on the goal or outcome of what you want , be specific. How will you know you've achieved the goal? What will you see?

Then find out what it will be like when you have completed the task at hand, how will you feel?

After that think about things you are already motivated to do, or you already find easy to do, how does it feel when you think of them?

Next Breathe deeply and double the size of those feelings and then think about doing the thing you had been putting off until now (this may take a little practice and repetition before it feels right but keep going!)

Then decide or think about what the first thing you'll (physically) do to begin the task and feel the great feelings strongly as you see it happening in your minds eye.

Imagine running through actually doing it in your mind, imagine doing it with great feelings while you do it. Rehearse or, pretend this over and over in your mind, and feel how great it feels

Finally, try to resist doing the thing you used to have no motivation to do while feeling those great feelings
