講談社シネマクリエイターズラボ第1期受賞者インタビュー～映像制作を終えて【第3期企画募集は24年11月30日まで！】

講談社シネマクリエイターズラボは、新たな映像クリエイターの発掘と支援を目的として、ショートフィルム企画を世界公募。映像の企画実現のために1,000万円の資金を提供し、完成作品は国内外の映画祭に出品いたします。
今回は第1期受賞者5名にインタビュー。
映像制作中の苦労や作品への満足度、”担当編集者”への率直な感想を伺いました。

第3期も引き続き、フィルムメーカーだけでなく、アイディアを持つアーティストや脚本家など幅広い層から映像企画の募集を行い、2025年6月に開催予定の米国アカデミー賞公認・アジア最大級の国際短編映画祭ショートショート フィルムフェスティバル & アジア（SSFF & ASIA) 2025にて最優秀企画を発表。

Interviews with the winners of Kodansha Cinema Creators Lab 1st Edition. The 3rd Edition Pitch submissions open until November 30, 2024!
Kodansha Cinema Creators Lab is accepting pitch submissions for short films from around the world with the aim to discover and support new visual creators. We will provide 10 million yen in funding towards production of the short film, and the completed film will be submitted to film festivals both domestically and internationally. Here are interviews of the 5 first edition award winners.
We asked about the hardships they faced while making the film, satisfaction with the finished film, and honest impressions of working with an "editor in charge."
Video creators who are thinking of submitting to this pitch contest, the directors' opinions might be helpful.
In the third edition, we will continue to solicit pitches from a wide range of creative people, including not only filmmakers but also artists and scriptwriters with ideas.
The best project will be announced at Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia (SSFF & ASIA) 2025, the largest international short film festival in Asia and recognized by the Academy Awards, scheduled to be held in June 2025.
The application deadline is Saturday, November 30, 2024!
