It was a cold Canadian winter day, and my unread Instagram messages were growing by the minute. Why? Well, I posted a story encouraging people to DM me with questions, the most common ones all had the same theme:
-What's your advice to level up in the film industry?
-How do you make such great content?
-What got you to where you are today?
-How can I grow as a filmmaker?
-What advice do you have for a new creator?
BAMMM, immediately I was like, sweet I'll just record a video of me giving advice and tips. How unoriginal and BORING! Light bulb. Why don't I make a video with a bunch of other filmmakers and combine their tips and advice with mine? BINGO. For the next 2 weeks, I scheduled calls with 24 different filmmakers across the globe. I ended up with 10+ hours of conversations. Directors, cinematographers, editors, colorists, YouTubers, animators, and more come together in this action-packed 7-minute collab- "Advice from 25 Filmmakers on Industry Success."
What's your favourite piece of advice from the video?
