Lost Cause Uncertainty
Forgive for all that I don't understand and see through my eyes but can't comprehend
I stumble around day after day, I can't get my footing when my feet are in the way
I hopeless in me, a lost cause to uncertainty
So I take one step then I take it back cause the coward in me can't face what I lack
And I'm scared to death, that I'm holding myself back
And I say things that I don't really mean, it just comes out when I'm not thinking
There's times I don't, believe in me, Its sad to see
Is all that I know, all that is real or hiding behind layers ready to peel
You don't know how much nothing can say, until it swallows up your fate
I hopeless in me, a lost cause to uncertainty
Every now and then, my cynical side won't let me in
And there's no signs telling me where to begin
My dreams aren't filled, they're plagued with lies
Not everything turns out no matter how hard you try
