The future of this channel....
For the longest time I've always chased the views and the subs, and often forgot about the reason I started this channel in the first place. To connect with people who was to learn photography in a fun and down to earth way. This has led me many times over the years to have creator's block. It's a vicious thing when you know and you're motivated to help but don't know what or how to do it. It's led me in serious mental health issues over the years and recently I realized that I'm thinking about Youtube Content Creation all wrong. It's not about getting in front of as many people as possible. It's about helping the ones who are already watching!
So with that being said, it's time for the new era of Josh Russell on Youtube (and life in general.) You are going to see more new content delivered the way it should be. Not watered down with jump cuts, lots of scenes and a bunch of flashy movements, but instead it'll be straight to the point, to help you grow as a better photographer. Whether it be a tutorial videos, some tips and tricks, or just a sit down discussion where I tell you about the ups and downs of being a photographer.
I hope these new style of videos help you grow to the person you want to be as well as I hope they help me become the person I WANT TO BE!
