Ski Oakenfull - Rising Son LP [2005] - Released on all digital platforms - 28th July 2023
On the 28th July 2023 Primaudial Records will release Ski Oakenfull's 2005 album 'Rising Son' on all digital platforms. For this project, Ski teamed up with Bluey and DJ Venom to produce an intoxicating blend of classic Old skool house to Nu skool soul and uplifting funktronica. It features Amp Fiddler on two cuts, Chi Turner on three cuts, as well as Tony Momrelle, Earl Zinger, and Valerie Etienne. It was initially released in Japan on Pony Canyon and later worldwide on BBE. Receiving support across the board from Gilles Peterson to Jeremy Newell to Deli-G, the album was a big hit!
