Check out Ken Lambert tear up Stevie Wonder’s, “Superstition,” with Mac Watts and his killer band on Lower Broadway in Nashville!
Go and follow Mac Watts and his band! Not only are these guys World Class musicians and performers, they are world class people!
Story time…. We ran into Mac in the parking deck. As he walked by obviously headed to a gig and Ken said, “where are we playing?” When Mac said The Stage on Broadway, Ken responded with, cool I’ll be there with my sax.” 🎷 Mac said come on, and headed off to do his thing.
Fast forward a couple hours later, we walk into the stage to catch some of his show. Ken left his sax at our loft, luckily it was on Broadway too and right next door!
Mac noticed us and asked Ken from
Stage did you bring your sax? Well Ken grabbed it and the rest is history as you will see here!
Thing is Mac Watts and his band had never met Ken, they didn’t know he had just moved to town, they didn’t know he had been looking for his chance to make an impression/connections, they didn’t even know if he was any good…. But they took a chance on a guy from a parking garage and laid some magic down! Needless to say I think everyone there knew they saw something special!
Trust me it won’t be long till you see Ken Lambert as a mainstay on Broadway on Nashville. There is going to be someone hear and know he is what their band needs! The countdown is on!
Big shoutout to Mac Watts and his crew! You guys are World-Class!
