Part 2 to Alder Creek Rd. including the Donner Party Camp
Ride the route of the Donner Party! We based at Lakeside Campground, outside of Truckee CA, to ride the Commemorative Overland Emigrant Trail. Starting near the middle of the trail, Part 1 takes us north to Stampede Reservoir, and Part 2 takes us west to Alder Creek Road including a ride through the meadows of the Donner Party Camp and Picnic Area.
