I dont think ther eis a single project that I've worked on, where I somehow misplace part of the design. Only to find it buried under other layers in the file. My immediate thought process is to start moving all the overlapping objects to get to the misplaced shape, but there is an easier option!! Next time this happens, simply hold down the command key and click through the shapes until you find the hidden object, then you can bring that to the front!
