S is for Stanley wins the David di Donatello for Best Documentary 2016
During the 2016 David di Donatello awards ceremony, Gabriele Salvatores proclaimed "S is for Stanley - Thirty Years at the Wheel for Stanley Kubrick" Best Feature Documentary of the year.
"S is for Stanley" is a film by Alex Infascelli about the friendship between Emilio D'Alessandro and Stanley Kubrick. The documentary, written by Infascelli, Filippo Ulivieri, and Vincenzo Scuccimarra, is based on the book "Stanley Kubrick and Me" by Emilio D'Alessandro and Filippo Ulivieri (Il Saggiatore, 2012).
