August is almost over and the #Sythember is knocking on the door. Slowly but surely I'm in the final phase in preparation for the second Massive Music Month of the year next to #Jamuary. It will definitely be exciting and I'm looking forward to it.

Today I sat down again to practice some techniques and to avoid possible mistakes in advance. And as fate would have it, that was a good idea. You will notice within the jam that the Volca Bass is too loud compared to the other Volcas. I didn't really notice that when I took the picture, but it's clear in hindsight. Luckily I know how that happened and can avoid such a mistake next time. The Volca Bass is the only Volca that does not run through the MyVolts MickXer and is therefore not reduced in volume. Since I only own two MickXers and wanted to run the Meolie Volcas through one and the Volca Sample (rhythm) through the other MickXer so that I didn't have any reverb on the beats, I unfortunately had to connect the Volca Bass directly. It's a bit of a shame, but can't be changed.

Anyway, it is what it is. The following applies to the future: either all synths to the MickXer or none.

In terms of practicing the techniques, I'm quite happy, although I wasn't able to do everything I wanted in this jam. The construction took a lot of time again. I miss my little studio that I had 3 months ago. Everything was always prepared here and I only had to plug in a few cables. Let's see how I solve this for the #Synthember Jam.

In any case, I now have a good idea of where I still need to practice. I think that I will focus on jams with several volcas or synths.

Here's the setup
Volca sample
Volca Bass
Volca Keys
Volca FM
Reverb Effect: Specual Reverb v3
MIDI/Sync by MIDRONOME

I'm looking forward to the next few weeks, especially Sundays, when we'll finally have the opportunity to get together and get to know each other better.

Greetings Volcaniced
