For My Mother
Hi Ellen, my name is Amy! I know that this is a Long shot, and there is no actual chance that this will be seen by you, but might as well try. This has been a difficult past few months for my family and I... my mother has been diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver (she has never drank a day in her life, this is pure bad luck), and that has caused her spleen to be enlarged. We have no idea what's going to happen, the medical expenses are insane and her health insurance honestly isn't the best and I know for a fact that surgery will cost a lot of money. This is why I'm trying so hard to get a hold of you Ellen, I understand if you won't be able to help because there are more people who are more in need of your help. Again, this is just a long shot, so for everyone else watching please understand that this is a very stressful time for my family, and at this point I don't know what else to do! If there were other things to do, I would.
