Four National Parks in one day
We woke up in the morning, re-packed the jeep and got back onto the Trans Canada Highway. This would be our first day of driving west, as it was finally time to say goodbye to the Canadian Rockies. Today we were attempting to drive through 4 National Parks (Banff, Yoho, Glacier and Mount Revelstoke) on our way from Canmore, Alberta to Revelstoke, British Columbia. This is our Journey.
We made our first stop at Lake Minnewanka (Banff) before crossing the provincial border between Alberta and BC, enjoying our time in "no man's land". Now inside Yoho National Park, we made two quick stops at Emerald Lake and the Natural Land Bridge, and stopped for some food in Golden. By this point, we were running out of daylight, and breezed through Glacier National Park. Right before arriving at our final destination for the day, the Trans Canada Highway dips slightly into Mount Revelstoke National Park, and therefor technically achieving "Four National parks in One Day".
