A good oat crop starts with a good stand, which starts with a well-maintained drill at the right settings. In this video Wade Dooley of Albion, IA walks us through the components of his Landoll 5531 drill that he uses to co-seed oats and red clover.
Wade discusses what components of the drill might need upkeep and replacing. He shows the airbags used for down pressure, depth control settings, the small and large seed boxes and the press wheels. Stay tuned for an additional video with Wade discussing seeding rates and oat varieties.
