Prepping Your Fabric!!

Thank you for stopping by for this video on how to prep your fabric for a quilting project.
We are beginning this new series, "Back to the Basics," with a project. Angel will be making a sewing machine mat with you. As discussed in this video, here are the fabric requirements to make this project:
Background fabric: 1/3 yard
Colored squares: you will have more than enough with a 5" square pack, scraps and stash are welcome!
Backing 2/3 Yard (you will have leftovers for sure) Bottom line, you will need a piece of fabric that is at least 22.5" X 28.5".
Binding: 1/4 yard
