LINOF - Convert 8 mm films to digital media -Amir Ron
Our gesture to Aliza Ron, amazing woman Holocaust survivor who lost her eldest son on the 10th Yom Kippur War. After digitization of the films and a comprehensive investigation we discovered the last days of this amazing fellow who chose to stop his vacation and came to save his homeland, the story was aired on Channel 10 - the last trip of Amir Ron, 41 years the film sat on the balcony in Tel Aviv despite the rain and sun a miracle happened and using progressive scan technology we were able to save the latest pictures of Amir. Amir came out with at the end of his military service in the summer of 1973 on a trip of six months in Europe and the US, the war caught him in Sweden, together with friend Dodo they did everything to come to Israel and join their armored regiment, they came to Israel on 11/10/1973. Amir arrived at the battlefield, with his creatively he tried to solve a problem of machine gun compatibility, fought for 6 days and was killed in tyhe "Chinese farm" with all his commandment, from a Sagger missile into thier tank. Amir was rescued only after the battles had been buried in a temporary grave and then buried in Kiryat Shaul, he wasn’t alive to see his films from his trip. yesterday after 41 years, his mother had an exciting moments to see her son smile for the last time.
