Luka Modric is one of the best midfielders of our generation. But his story, beginning in his war-torn home in Croatia, to the bright lights of Tottenham and Real Madrid, seems like a fairytale. A young Luka Modric and his family were forced to flee his home due to militants and become refugees, but he worked his way up to the top and eventually became one of the best midfielders ever.
