I'm sewing tiger paw prints. A Christmas tree.
How to dye fabric with potassium permanganate.
I used an old pale pink towel.
I filled a saucepan with about 3 liters of water and poured the solution into it. I mixed the potassium permanganate powder with warm water first, resulting in a dark purple color. I placed the saucepan on the stove and placed the towel in it. Stirring constantly until the towel was completely saturated, I heated the water to about 50 degrees Celsius. I let it cool. Then I rinsed it first in cold water and then in a vinegar solution to prevent the color from fading after washing.
