Autonomous vehicles validation with SOTIF
Autonomous vehicles validation is complex because of the high number of parameters and situations in their environment. This video describes some methods to easily generate millions of test cases with a large variability, to find defects of autonomous vehicles and to increase safety of their passengers and to save lifes. This method is based on a real time closed loop between 3D simulation tool and a model-based testing tool. Generated tests make possible creation of unpredictable situation with unknown test cases as expected in safety standards SOTIF's : Safety Of The Intended Functionality ISO/PAS 21448:2019.
