From October 12 to 16, 30 hybrid students traveled to Washington, D.C. for the law school's Learn on Location program, generously hosted by the law firms of ArentFox Schiff and Sterne Kessler and supported by a partnership with Jim Bindseil, JD '97, a partner of ArentFox.
The four-day event brought hybrid students together for a weekend of immersive learning and networking under the guidance of instructors Jessica Harrison and Mike Ray, JD '90. Harrison is an adjunct professor of patent practice and procedure at UNH Franklin Pierce, who works in Sterne Kessler's Electronics Practice Group. Ray is a patent attorney, managing director of Sterne Kessler, an adjunct professor at the law school, and a member of the Dean's Advisory Council.
