Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 - First flight
Just a quick and dirty flight, trying out some different settings for lighting and weather, and doing some key-mapping.
Flying done over my hometown of Trondheim (closest airport is ENVA)
In other words, trying to figure out if my almost 7 year old laptop can run it.
It's an ASUS G750JH with i7-4400HQ CPU and GTX780M GPU, 32 Gb RAM.
Settings in the sim are mostly HIGH (FS suggested MEDIUM for my PC), with some extra boost on buildings and terrain. Aside from that, nothing special.
Stutters and low FPS as expected, but not anywhere near as bad as I had though. Setting up for medium as FS suggested, would probably have smoothed things out a great deal.
