“Често забравяме красотата на града, в който живеем. Вглъбяваме се в поредния закъснял автобус, поредната асфалтова дупка и неуморното изброяване на дните, в които тя стои незапълнена, или в някое събитие, което не отговаря на нашите представи.
В края на краищата градът, в който живеем, е този, който ние създаваме. Една смес от надежда, любов и понякога миризмата на люляк, която изпълва пролетта. Това е нашето любовно писмо към София - град, в който нито един от нас не е израснал, но е като писмо от стара любов, което препрочитаме безброй пъти, за да се върнем към онзи момент, в който всичко сякаш беше по-светло, по-щастливо и по-цяло. С този филм поставяме началото на един разговор. И се надяваме, че още много хора ще се влюбят в София - за цял живот или поне за 12 минути.”
Филмът “За София, с любов” цели да засили любопитството на бъдещи туристи към града и е подкрепен от Mastercard, като част от инициативата на бранда да дигитализира неразказаните по света истории на София и нейните хора. Това е личен и документален разказ за емблематичните и отличителни градски символи на София и кулминация на проекта #soWelcometoSofia на платформата #soSofia, който изследва 30 от най-характерните символи от античността, съвремието и природата на София и ги представя на пристигащите туристи в мащабна инсталация на Терминал 2 на Летище София. Проектът е реализиран с подкрепата на програмата за социализиране на културното наследство на Столична община, Летище София / Sofia Airport и Mastercard.

"Oftentimes we forget about the beauty of our city. We become entirely fixated on how late a bus line might be one day, whether that pothole we saw last month has been fixed, or angry that our expectations at a large event weren’t met. In the end, the city we want to live in is the one we construct. It’s one molded by hope, love, and, sometimes, the smell of lilac trees in early spring. This is our love letter to Sofia - a city that neither of us grew up in, but one that, like a letter from a forgotten love, we’ve read over and over again and reminded ourselves of how, for that one moment in time, we saw everything brighter, happier, and, in a way, endless. With this film we start a conversation. And we hope that many more people will fall in love with Sofia - whether for a lifetime or at least for 12 minutes."
The film "To Sofia, with love" aims to increase the curiosity of future tourists to the city and is supported by Mastercard as part of the brand's initiative to digitize the stories of Sofia and its people that have not been told around the world. It is a personal and documentary story of iconic and distinctive urban symbols of Sofia and a culmination of the #soWelcometoSofia project on the #soSofia platform, which explores 30 of the most characteristic symbols from antiquity, modernity and nature of Sofia and presents them to arriving tourists in a rough installation at Terminal 2 of Sofia Airport. The project was implemented with the support of the cultural heritage socialization program of the Sofia Municipality, Sofia Airport and Mastercard.
