My kids wanted to try out surfing, so we borrowed a surfboard from a friend. Being a dad, you’re always carrying something more than what you came with. In this case, I also had a wagon of stuff to pull and needed both hands to maneuver through the crowd. So instead of making two trips, I took 20 feet of rope and made a backpack.
