In this video, I take a closer look at the spectacular Solna centrum metro station, opened in 1975 and designed by Karl-Olov Björk and Anders Åberg. The station is on the blue line between Kungsträdgården and Akalla. It is a mountain station in dominating red and green, with influences of the changes in society during the 1970's. It is also a favorite destination for visitors due to the view by the escalators at the southern entrance.
Stockholm underground is often called the world's longest art exhibition. Each of the 100 stations in and around the city have their own style.
