At the 2019 Junior World Championships in Győr, Guan Chenchen won the silver medal 🥈in the all-around and sixth place in the vault with the Chinese team. The following year, she became Chinese uneven bars champion. At the 2021 Olympic Games in Tokyo, she secured both the highest qualifying score (6.900) on the balance beam and the gold medal in the final with a score of 6.600, ahead of Tang Xijing from China and Simone Biles from the USA.🏅 Guan's retirement from competitive gymnastics was announced in October 2022 as she focused on her studies at Zhejiang University.
