DYNASTY
The song is "Dynasty" by Rina Sawayama and it's a perfect choice to portray the generational trauma that has been passed through the Yamaoka bloodline. I know in canon the killers never interact, but I can't help but imagine a scenario with this video where the Entity lets Rin and Kazan meet. Kazan would be disappointed to see the fate of his kin be so weakened by modern society. The era of the samurai is gone now, the Yamaokas have been reduced to an abusive salaryman and a college student. In the fog Kazan would pressure her to become a samurai, so she could honor the family where he failed. Rin then meets Adam and is presented with two options, continue the cycle of violence (represented by the mori) or break free of the Entity's grasp (Adam unhooking himself and running with Rin.)
Unfortunately, I have a lot of stuff going on so this will be my only video probably for the entire summer. Thank you to my buds Tax and Systm for letting me film the mori.
