Our panel of experts explores the latest projects that combine data visualization, data art, sculpture, and sensory experiences. The overarching question «Where does design end and art begin?» guides us. This event is for artists, data enthusiasts, and anyone fascinated by the fusion of data and art.
Adrien Segal (https://www.adriensegal.com/) A sculptor who elegantly fuses art with data, transforming abstract datasets into tactile masterpieces. With a knack for visualizing natural phenomena and human experiences in 3D forms. In her talk, she illuminates the journey of shaping data into sculptures, inviting us to perceive information through touch and form.
On Data and Design is an evening lecture series organized by the Basel-based studio for information design Superdot – visualizing complexity. The lecture series fosters knowledge, community and exchange at the intersection of design and data practice. Our free, quarterly events feature three short talks with beer, snacks and good company. Currently On Data and Design live events are running in Basel, Vienna and Berlin with a growing community of over 1500 engaged DataVizzers.
