Exit 101 - Penn State DuBois
Maybe, it's just me, but I love the highway exit number on my way to Penn State DuBois.
Guess what the number is?
In college, we have intro courses whose numbers are typically 101. For example, many universities have Computer Science 101 as their introduction to computing.
Yes, our highway exit number is 101, which is perfect for a person who is starting a new career path as a full-time administrator in higher education. The sign makes me smile every time I see it. 😊
I am also beginning to think that the exit number is an excellent marketing/recruitment tool for Penn State DuBois. We could use messaging like "Begin your college 101 at Exit 101 - Penn State DuBois!" You can see that I am not a copywriter. 😉 Maybe, we can erect a sign with an enhanced version of the message by the highway.
