Recently there’s been somewhat of a resurgence of horror games that play in special ways, see Shipwrecked 64 and KinitoPet, 2 games that have taken the internet by storm for not only being fun horror games, but also for their extra layers of interactivity that they bring to the table. Let’s go back in time to 2012, the release year of what could be considered the grandparent of 4th wall breaking horror games. That being IMSCARED. Created by Ivan Zanotti, imscared is one of the first horror games that went all out on direct interactions with the player themselves. While other games did this too, imscared is arguably the king of this sub genre. The further you progress the more bizarre, lonely and even outright hostile the game gets. Her, white lady, spooky ghost, game acts like a virus, game lives in your pc and computer, white face, tags tags tags, puzzles, not really an arg, unlisted videos bla bla bla idk what other things to put for the tags. There's also someone called restorer, uhhh, this is a very good horror game!! I like it as much as b3313, that romhack mario 64 game I made a video on a while ago, also a very good ducklex video!!.
