McIntosh Reserve Park Mountain Biking

Review (5/10 Cogs):

McIntosh Reserve Park is a great picnic and camping location. The park borders the Chattahoochee River and is what I envisioned when I went to Chattahoochee Bend State Park (CBSP) for the first time. Overall the facilities were okay and the grounds were well kept. Cost is $5 dollars per car and they do not charge more for mountain biking, unlike CBSP and other state parks.

Now on to the trails..
I ended up being the only mountain biking and the only one on the trails while I was there. The trails consisted of old double track and were highly eroded in spots that made cleaning the line nearly impossible. The trails were cut up and down, not fast and flowy like all the others that are maintained.

If you pass Cochran Mill Park on the way to McIntosh Reserve, I highly recommend that you stop at Cochran Mill.
