Remove Pin or password using TWRP or OrangeFox custom recovery
If you forgot your PIN or password on your personal phone you can remove it as long it's rooted with custom recovery
Go to the `/data/system` folder. Scroll down and find the two files with the `.key` extension. If they are there, delete them. If not, then delete whatever matches the file names provided below. If you don't have all of them, that's fine. Just delete whatever you have.Delete both of them (by tapping on the file and then tapping the Delete button). Then, delete all the files containing the word locksettings. password.key pattern.key locksettings.db locksettings.db-shm locksettings.db-wal
