It Reaches launches May 18, 2026 - a first-person body cam horror game where you play as a police officer trapped deep underground in an abandoned hospital with something hunting you through the dark. Developed by Emberflight Games.
I played the demo and as someone who loves horror games that actually make you feel fear - Outlast-style - this one genuinely got to me. The body cam perspective isn't just an aesthetic, it changes everything. Restricted view, real weight to every movement, and a sanity mechanic that forces you into mistakes under pressure.
It's not perfect yet - some performance and control issues were present in the demo. But the reaction from players has been overwhelmingly positive and the atmosphere is the real deal.
