This Hunt Showdown gameplay compilation is going to be more of a guide. I'm going to showcase two matches and focus on my train of thought while I'm trying to get the strategic advantage. I will also show the way I analyse both the map and the environment, and I will elaborate on my tactical decision making and how it will influence the game to my advantage. I will explain why I make certain choices, give insights into how I play and how my tactics contribute to winning a match.
In this video, I run a stealth build. I'm equiped with the Sparks Sniper (best sniper rifle in my opinion) and I pair it with dual wield Nagant Silencer with Poison ammo.
This video consists of two matches.
Timestamps:
0:00 - Rat Tactics for an entire match
12:38 - Rat Tactics for lair defense
In the first match, Larsen and myself are playing duo vs trio and we're both equipped with Sniper rifles. This is going to be a longer match with some parts you may find a bit more boring, but which are (in my opinion) essential to understand my thinking process as well as the way we determine our strategy.
I'm playing the second match together with @Etholdir and Davok. This one is going to be shorter, but it will show you one particularly dirty rat tactic which could make your life easier when you're scoping out a bosslair because you have no gear to push it.
I consider this video to be sort of an advanced guide, if you will, which can help both beginners and more experienced players alike. I prefer to show not just highlights and focus on some of my... dirty tricks which will show you how to get the advantage.
Other things showcased (even if ever so briefly) in this video:
How to takedown a Boss very quickly with a sticky bomb and poison. This tactic works wonders on the Butcher and Scrapbeak, but is not really effective against the Assassin and the Spider.
How to read your surroundings and assess the situation.
All tactics within work in both normal duo and trio, as well as playing as a solo vs duo or solo vs trio and (as demonstrated) also as duo vs trio.

I have no intention on re-inventing the proverbial wheel and just dropping 'yet another' educational or "get good" or "how to get better" video guide onto the pile. I just want to share some things I've learned in all my hours of playtime.
This is by no means a professional guide of sorts. It's just me sharing my opinion and my vision. You don't need to adopt this playstyle and you definetly don't have to agree with it if it's not your thing. :)
Enjoy the video!

I consider myself an amateur who does this as a hobby some nights a week after his dayjob and as such, I'm still learning about recording and video-editing. Don't judge me too harshly. ;-)
