Abstract:
Motion sickness is a present issue in Virtual Reality when using head-mounted displays (HMD). A position estimation system was developed using the Oculus Rift IMU to reduce simulator sickness. A user study was realized to evaluate the usability of the proposed positioning system in comparison of a conventional game controller.
