2024 Land Combat Fire power Exercise
The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) Land Combat and Fire Power Demonstration Exercise is an annual event with it technology partner SokoAerial Robotics. The show , showcases the military's ability to defend Ghana's territorial integrity. The exercise simulates a battle group operating as part of a joint task force, and includes the use of fire assets to block and defeat an attack by a fictional invading force. The exercise also demonstrates the GAF's ability to conduct joint operations and respond to internal and external threats.
The exercise is a major training event for the GAF and is part of the training for students of the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College (GAFCSC).
This year theme was on multi-domain operations covering Land, Maritime, Air, Cyber and Space. For the first time this program had a lot locally developed defense capabilities, from drone , electronic warfare and situational awareness solution for operational deployment
