jaskier becomes trapped in a ruined castle with radovid, a mysterious prince who was cursed to be a beast. every night, jaskier dreams about the curse and who radovid was before it and as time slowly passes, the two grow closer. eventually, through his dreams, jaskier learns just how radovid was cursed and the spell is only undone when radovid sacrifices himself to save jaskier from an attack on the castle.
