What is #WordAssociationTest (WAT)
WAT is a part of #Psychologicaltestissb, also known at Written Ability Test. WAT reflects on a persons creativity, depth of thinking, ability to deliver consistently under pressure (of time and test), mental fertility, maturity and wisdom. When seen in the context of overall exams, its provide decent data about personality of a person for further validation and counter check. This test is a very important tool for the psychologist to assess the personality traits of the candidate. On checking the words association of a person, they learn about what kind of person the candidate is, his beliefs and dislikes, how do you behave to your surroundings and what is inside you.
How is Word Association Test (WAT) is Conducted at ISSB
In this test, the candidates are shown a word of common usage for about 10 seconds, during which time candidates are supposed to write a sentence. After 10 seconds are over, another word is exposed for 9-10 seconds, the process continues and candidates are asked to write 100 sentences. The practice will allow you to work in real time as per timings at ISSB. More practices will follow.
