Tanween Design Programme 2024: Meet the Designer - Osama Rashad
Osama Rashad is an Egyptian architect based in Dubai with a strong interest in exploring earth construction techniques. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the Faculty of Fine Arts at Alexandria University. Osama has completed several earth construction projects, including those in South Sinai, Egypt. He focuses on community engagement in earth construction and is committed to spreading knowledge about earth architecture through seminars and workshops.
KUNOOZ by Osama Rashad, coffee table, made from the same clay found beneath our feet in the UAE, the table base is created by compacting layers of clay, exuding a natural and earthy charm that adds a unique touch to any space. Durable and sustainable, the table showcases the naturally colorful ancient building technique. A glass surface sits atop the table.
