This is the official project showcase video for Smart India Hackathon 2025.
We are Team ByteMe (Team ID: 103) and our idea is to build a Blockchain-powered Blue Carbon Registry that ensures transparency, trust, and fraud-proof carbon credits. 🌊🌱
🔹 Problem We Are Solving:
Current carbon markets ignore emissions from blue carbon ecosystems like drains, stagnant ponds, and fisheries.
Double-counting and fraud reduce trust in carbon credits.
🔹 Our Solution:
✔️ IoT sensors + Satellite data for real-time MRV
✔️ Blockchain smart contracts for tamper-proof records
✔️ Dashboard + Marketplace for transparent carbon credits
🔹 Prototype:
We have built a working HTML frontend connected to Ethereum Holesky testnet, proving the blockchain backbone. IoT + satellite integration is part of the next phase.

🌍 Environmental – Protects wetlands, mangroves, and water bodies
👨👩👧 Social – Coastal communities can earn extra income
💰 Economic – Attracts global investors with a fraud-proof market
