Off-Beat Wedding - Behind the Scenes
Theme: off beat bridal.
Elegant, beautiful, but not a typical bridal shoot -- more wild at heart,
empowering, without silly modesty. Its more of an idea of a woman getting
married, she is vulnerable, but strong to make a commitment. Its a more of a spur of the moment affair for her. Not all accessories are matching, but she looks her best without caring what the mother-in-law or guests might think. She is just all for herself. And for him.
The lighting for this setup was a bit more complicated than our usual setups with a Profoto White Beauty Dish on a high Boom with a soft fill provided by a 3x4' Softbox - Both driven by a Profoto Pro7a generator. On the right we had a soft hairlights with a 2x3' softbox and a 3' octobox to lift the shadows a bit - Driven by two 500watt D1 heads. A 1,000watt Profoto ProTungsten served as a fill for some shots on a standard reflector for harder shadows, and through a 105 scrim for soft light as needed.
