Dependent Filters in an Excel Pivot Table: The Secret to Getting Them to Work

Dependent Filters are where you have two filters and the choices available in Filter 2 are based on the selection from Filter 1.

For example you have a list of Regions (EMEA, AsiaPac, Americas). You select a region (EMEA) from Filter 1 and you want Filter 2 to only display the countries that belong to EMEA.

Easy, right? Not with standard filters. But using Slicers it's simple. In this video I show you how.
